Members of Oglethorpe County Fire Rescue visited Oglethorpe County High School to talk with students about fire safety, fire prevention, and fire extinguisher operations. Beaverdam Chief Jehu Post and Beaverdam Lieutenant Cody Gibbs talked with nearly 50 students and allowed students to practice the PASS (Pull the pin, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep) Method using fire extinguishers in a controlled environment.
