Oglethorpe County Fire Rescue recently purchased ten MSA-G1 SCBAs from Ten8. These SCBAs have a normal price-tag of around $7,000 each, but we were able to purchase these brand new for $4,100 each! Of the funds used to purchase the MSA-G1 SCBAs, $33,000 came from the Oglethorpe County Board of Commissioners and $5,363.00 came from funds raised by OCFR through a chicken bar-b-que fundraiser and previous gun raffle. The total amount came out to $38,363.00. OCFR would like to thank Commissioner Pittard and all of the Oglethorpe County commissioners for their continued support of Oglethorpe County Fire Rescue.
