With the potential for severe winter weather impacting our state, Governor Kemp has declared a State of Emergency effective January 14, 2022, which includes Oglethorpe County. Oglethorpe County Emergency Services, including the Sheriff’s Office, EMS, and Fire Rescue, are preparing resources for what may happen in the next 48-72 hours.
